GET THE SCOOP ON SUN CITY'S SMOKE ALARM PROGRAM
IS THIS YOUR CAT?
A friendly cat was found near the corner of Linfield and Springwater drives in Sun City last week. She is a very sweet cat. She does not have any tags, but she may be microchipped. She has light color blue eyes, and looks to have Siamese and Tabby markings. Please call 702-419-6897, or Sun City Security Patrol, 702-254-2303. We are sure someone is missing this sweet girl!
PALM TREE TRIMMING THIS WEEK
Due to the high winds last week, Sun City’s Landscape Department cancelled its palm tree maintenance. As a result, SCSCAI Landscape crew members will be out on Wednesday, trimming palm trees around the community. Please be mindful of orange traffic cones that clearly mark work areas. If you encounter any of the crews while driving, take care to slow down and use caution. Pedestrians may want to avoid the areas.
THE LINK KEEPS SPOTTIN' DOTS
Thanks for playing, Georgia Rutkowski, as your red Honda was spotted at Desert Vista sportin' its Link sunshade recently. Way to go! Next up, does anyone recognize this luxurous ride, spotted at the Pinnacle parking lot in mid-September looking way too cool for school. If you're the owner of this bright red Ferrari, head to the Link Office at Mountain Shadows to claim your victory lap!

THANKS FOR THE CAKES!
Sun City residents stepped up to help the Link plan its upcoming cake walk event to be held at SCSCAI's 30th birthday bash on Saturday, October 12, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Mountain Shadows picnic area. The magazine took calls and walk-in donations from proud resident bakers to the tune of 13 cakes in a variety of flavors, including a baklava stack! Thank you all for your generous assistance. Remember, if you want to win one of these delicious desserts, you will have to play. So, come to Sun City's birthday celebration. The first 100 guests through the balloon arch will receive a collectible keepsake, and there will be lots of chances to win great prizes on the carnival-like midway. Plus, of course, the cake walk, which will run every 20 minutes or so.
See you at the party!
