Our Community Theatre Club needs a Volunteer to help with Set Design/Build for our shows? You do not have to be a professional.  Being able to assemble the parts and know some carpentry helps.

This is basically what it entails:

Check with the Director. The Director will give you a drawing of what the set is supposed to look like.

Using the stage measurements, make a rough sketch showing how it will look on stage. Show to Director for approval.

Using set parts we already have, and/or buying new pieces, you and others on the crew will build the set, paint as needed.

The Sunday before the performance, you and your crew will put the set together on stage.

When the show ends on Sunday, the set is taken apart & stored in member garages.

RACQUETBALL

The Racquetball Club  enjoyed a very active 2025 season. We welcomed new members, continued our member prize drawings,  and held member tourneys. The Club participated in the SCS Club Fair and other events.  Club dues at just $15  will continue for the 2026 season.

The Club’s 2025 Annual meeting/picnic was held 6 OCT at DV.   The meeting as always was a well-attended enthusiastic affair for Club members and guests. The 2026 election results are:

President:  Pete Ruopp,  VP: Glenn Erdel,  Treasurer: David Droker, and Sec: Greg Schultz.

The Club welcomes players of all skill levels. Lessons available.  The member-only court time is Mon-Sat 8am til noon. Membership forms are available on the RB Club bulletin board. Both singles and doubles play are active during the week.

Give the Racquetball Club some thought for good times and exercise!  See you at the court!
