SUN CITY'S TURNING 30
Can you believe the community is turning 30 years old? And to think she doesn’t look a day over 29! In honor of the event the Association is throwing Sun City a party on Saturday, October 12, and the whole community is invited. The party, which will take place at the picnic area at Mountain Shadows, will be set to a county fair theme and feature midway-style games for prizes, a DJ, food specials and a cake walk. And that’s where the Link needs your help. The Link is recruiting bakers to help us cook up a few prized desserts. If you remember the cake walks hosted by your schools and churches then you know what fun it is to win a delicious homemade treat. If you have a special cake you’d like to share, contact us at the Link Office, 702-966-1435 and tell us what kind of cake you’ll be bringing. We’re hoping to collect a tasty dozen that will put winners in a state of sugary bliss!
