Catch a Free Ride to Red Rock Casino

Sun City residents can catch a free shuttle to Red Rock Casino every day at the Mountain Shadows Fitness Center. The bus picks up passengers daily at 12:30 p.m. in front of the fitness center. For the return trip, the shuttle departs the casino each day at 4:10 p.m. and returns to the Mountain Shadows Fitness Center around 4:30 p.m.

Slow Down & Watch Your Speed

Residents may have noticed that the two speed monitoring machines originally located on Button Willow and Villa Ridge drives have been relocated to Sun City Boulevard (east of Highland Falls Golf Course) and Faiss Drive.
The monitors are designed to slow down speeding motorists by alerting them to their actual speed. Residents should remember that the speed limit along Sun City Boulevard is 30 mph, while the speed limit along Faiss Drive (and all interior streets) is 25 mph, unless posted otherwise. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the speed monitors are moved every six to nine months to help keep them effective.
