THANKS FOR SPENDING JULY 4TH WITH US
JULY 4TH AT THE SUMMIT
There was a full house at the Summit for the July 4th festivities. Great food, friends and fireworks were the winning combination. We hope you all had fun and we're looking forward to the next get together at the Summit.

SUN CITY RESIDENTS:
DID YOU KNOW...
...that trellises are mainly used as a support for fruit trees or climbing plants? Although they are also considered quite decorative, only (3) are allowed and they are permitted in the rear yard only. Each trellis must have plant material attached to it at the time of installation, and the plants on the trellises are not allowed to grow more than six (6) feet in height as measured from the foot of the trellis. Trellises are not permitted within the fifteen (15) foot setback from golf courses or greenbelts. Plastic, composite, wood, chain link, wire, or lattice trellises are not permitted. Call the Community Standards Department for more information, 702.966.1411.

NEW RESIDENT MIXER:
Neighbors Meeting Neighbors
Our "New Resident Mixer" held on June 30th was great fun! We welcomed so many new neighbors and got to finally put faces and names together.
If you purchased or began renting your home in Sun City Summerlin on or after November 1, 2019, please feel free to contact us about attending the next New Resident Mixer. The next event will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 5 p.m., at the Summit. This event requires a reservation.
This is a great opportunity to meet Sun City Summerlin's Board of Directors, Executive Director and other owners who can tell you about all of the amenities, activities and volunteer opportunities in our community.
To be put on the guest list and obtain your reservation, please email [email protected] with the date you bought your home or started renting your home, your home address and the first and last names of people from your home who want to attend the event. You will receive a confirmation after your information has been verified by our Membership Services Department.
We hold the New Resident Mixer every month, so if you can't attend on July 23, you can still attend on a future date.
In addition, New Resident Orientations have started up again too. There will be two opportunities each week to participate if you have already received your Homeowner Association Card OR Renters Card from our Membership Services Department. Orientations will be held Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and Thursday afternoons at 4 p.m. This event requires a reservation. To book your Orientation, please email [email protected]m. In your email, include your first and last name, your membership ID# and your phone number so we can call you to book your appointment.
