Exclusive Meeting for Sun City Neighborhood Watch Block Captains, Wednesday, June 28
All actively participating Sun City Neighborhood Watch block captains are encouraged to attend an important committee meeting, Wednesday, June 28, 10:30 a.m. in Room 2 at Desert Vista.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Crime Prevention Specialist will conduct the meeting together with Sun City’s Neighborhood Watch Committee. There is a full agenda for this meeting and attendees will be exchanging data with other Neighborhood Watch block captains who are involved with this effort.
The expansion of Neighborhood Watch in Sun City has been terrific and the committee looks forward to this opportunity to share common-interest crime prevention information. Currently, more than 35 block captains are participating in the neighbors-helping-neighbors program.
THINK LINK: For inclusion in a forthcoming magazine article, block captains will be encouraged to talk about incidents they have dealt with in their neighborhoods. Also, anyone who may be inclined to form a new watch group in their own neighborhood is encouraged to learn more at this meeting. As vital as the Neighborhood Watch program is to the Sun City community, block captains quickly discover that it is not time-consuming or difficult to do. If you are a Neighborhood Watch block captain, or you hope to become one, the committee hopes to meet and talk with you at this meeting. For more information, contact [email protected].
