NEW RESIDENT MIXER AT THE SUMMIT
AND NEW RESIDENT ORIENTATION ARE BACK!
If you purchased or rented your home here in Sun City Summerlin on or after November 1, 2019, then due to COVID-19 restrictions we never had the opportunity to properly welcome you to the Community. We have two events that we were inviting you to attend, both require a reservation.
1. New Resident Mixer at the Summit Restaurant - June 30, 2021* at 5 p.m. Come and meet your Board of Directors, Executive Director and mingle with other Owners who attend to tell you about Club and volunteer opportunities. It is a casual evening where everyone gets to know everyone. We do need to know if you plan to attend so we can verify your ownership or lease and put you on the guest list so you can gain entrance into the event area. Please send an email to [email protected] if you plan to attend with; the date you bought your home, and the first and last name of everyone from your home that will be attending.
*We hold a mixer every month, so if you cannot attend this month don’t worry, you can still attend in the future.
2. New Resident Orientation - If you have already received your Homeowner Association Card** or Renters Card** you are invited to attend a New Resident Orientation. Orientations are held on Tuesday mornings at 9:30 a.m. and Thursday afternoons at 4 p.m. If you are still working and need us to make arrangements for an early evening orientation this can be accommodated. To book your orientation, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information: your first and last name, your membership # and your phone number (so we can call you and book your appointment).
**If you have not yet had an opportunity to come in and get your Homeowner Association Card or Renters Card, please call the Membership Office at 702.966.1401 to schedule an appointment to come in, register, have your picture taken and get your card. While you are at the Membership Office to get your card, the staff member assisting you will also schedule you for your New Resident Orientation.

SCAM ALERT - PLEASE BE AWARE
SMOKE DETECTORS
There is at least one man going door-to-door telling Owners and residents of Sun City Summerlin that he is at their home to install their smoke detector. THIS IS A SCAM – DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOME.
If you signed up for the Smoke Detector program, your smoke detector will be installed by appointment only and your appointment will be made in a way that you know that the person contacting you is a representative of the community organization or the Las Vegas Metro Fire Department.
I will be sending more information after I have further conversations with Las Vegas Metro Fire Department and the Las Vegas Metro Police, for now I just wanted to get the information out to the community.
If you have neighbors or friends in the community who do not get the e-mail blasts, please share this email with them.
If you have been approached by this person and have information to share, please call me or send me an email
