Sun City Summerlin's Community Services Department is excited to announce that free movies at the Starbright Theatre and the Spring Garage Sale are back!
It's been so long, we've almost forgotten what it was like to have our community bustling with activity. Though we are far from back to our prior normal, things are starting to open up a bit. Here's a look at what is coming up in April.
FREE Movies at the Starbright Theatre
Thursday, April 15th at 1 p.m. - "Mr. Right"
Tuesday, April 27th at 2 p.m. - "Sister Act"
Sun City Summerlin Community Garage Sales
Friday and Saturday, April 16 and 17 from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24 from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

OUTDOOR POOLS OPENING ON APRIL 1ST
The pool/spa rules have been established by Sun City Summerlin Community Association, Inc., in accordance with the Southern Health District regulations.
Use of the pools is the user’s own risk. Lifeguards are NOT provided.
April 2021 POOL SCHEDULE
Desert Vista Outdoor Pool -10360 Sun City Blvd.
Hours: Monday-Sunday 6 am - 9 pm
Water Classes: (Indoor pool closed during class time)
Arthritis Club Water Class Tuesdays/Thursdays 10:30 - 11:30 am
Swim Club: Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays 9 - 10 am
Mountain Shadows Outdoor Pool – 9103 Del Webb Blvd.
Hours: Monday-Sunday 6 am - 9 pm
Water Classes: (Pool closed during class time)
Aquacize: Mondays-Fridays 8 am & Mondays-Saturdays 7 pm
Pinnacle Pool – 2205 Thomas Ryan Blvd.
Hours: Monday-Sunday 6 am -9 pm
Sun Shadows Indoor Pool – 8700 Del Webb Blvd.
Hours: Monday-Sunday 6 am - 9 pm

Aquacize: Mondays-Saturdays 10 - 10:45 am- Swim lanes available during class time
Aqua Zumba: Wednesdays & Fridays 11 - 11:50 am- Swim lanes available during class time
Waterobics: Mondays-Fridays 9 - 9:45 am (Pool closed during class time)
Pool Etiquette:
Welcome to the 2021 pool season. It is important to follow a few simple rules for everyone’s safety and enjoyment. Each fitness center has facility rules printed at the Fitness Monitor station.
Wear face coverings at all times unless in the pool or actively drinking or eating.
Social distance by staying 6 feet apart from others outside your household.
Use of the pools is the user’s own risk. Lifeguards are NOT provided.

- On-site showering before entering pool is required by the Health District.
- Food and Drink are allowed only at the outdoor pools and must be kept at least 4 feet away from water.
- Bottled water is allowed in any pool area.
- Glass containers, alcohol and gum are prohibited.
