WHAT IS A RESIDENTS' FORUM WORKSHOP?
Find Out When the Next One Meets on January 2 at 1 p.m.
Every month hundreds of residents attend the popular Residents’ Forum event that takes place at Desert Vista on the second Wednesday of the month. But have you ever wondered how those fabulous events come together? Each month, on the first Wednesday of the month, at 1 p.m., at the Pinnacle (in January, the meeting will be held on Thursday, January 2), Residents’ Forum officers, directors and a core group of volunteers get together to plan fun and informative activities for residents. Residents may attend the meetings as guests, which is a great opportunity to see if you’d like to get involved with this very creative group. During the planning workshops, volunteers who are assigned to specific events review their activities and detail their plans for executing a perfect evening. While some recurring events run themselves, others take lots of planning. As for the volunteers, they are some of the hardest working and best organized in Sun City. If you’re interested in helping out, or have an idea you’d like to suggest for a future event, drop in. The meeting usually runs an hour or so. Be sure to arrive early.
