Join the inaugural gathering of Sun City’s newest club, The Band Jam Club, at 7 p.m., Wednesday, November 14, at The Summit.
The popular Rockin’ Blues Squad will open the evening and set the vibe for the fun night ahead. After a few songs, the electric jam session will open up to musicians in the house. Add your name to the sign-up sheet and head on up to the stage circle. If you’ve ever wanted to perform with a live band, here’s your chance. The event is free, and there will be food and beverages available for purchase at The Summit Snack Bar.

Thursday CCOC Meeting Canceled

The Sun City Summerlin Musicmakers concert presentations will soon be presented. Directed by Joey Spinella and accompanied be Vickie Massie, the Musicmakers will present “Songs for the Season” on Friday, December 7, at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, December 9, at 2 p.m. These concerts will be presented at the Starbright Theatre, 2215 Thomas Ryan Blvd. in the Pinnacle Community Center. Get your tickets early at any of the following monitor stations in Sun City Summerlin: Pinnacle, 2215 Thomas Ryan Blvd.; Desert Vista, 10360 Sun City Blvd.; Mountain Shadows, 9107 Del Webb Blvd.; or online at www.SunCitySummerlin.com. RSVP Your Seat to the Havasu Balloon Festival
Join fellow Sun City residents as they make the trek to Lake Havasu City on January 11, 2019, for the Havasu Hot Air Balloon Festival and Fair. The day begins at 6 a.m. with departure from the Pinnacle; arrival at balloon festival is approximately 10 a.m. (Arizona time). The rest of the day is yours to explore the art village, take a hot air balloon ride in a tethered/untethered balloon, enjoy great food and music by AbbaFab, the No. 1 ABBA tribute band. The deadline to purchase tickets is Monday, December 31. Visit SunCitySummerlin.com, or any of the social monitor stations to buy your tickets. $65 per person covers transportation, festival admission and skybox-area access with seating. The bus returns to Sun City around midnight.
