Join your friends and neighbors as SCSCAI throws the community a 30th birthday party for the record books. The first 100 guests through the balloon arch entrance will receive a special commemorative gift. Try your luck at the dunk tank, where celebrity dunkees will challenge you to hit the bull's-eye and set them swimming. Mini golf more your speed? Step up to the hole-in-one contest and show off your skills.
Keep your energy up with hamburger and hot dog meals, free cotton candy and popcorn, and $1 beer and $2 wine. If you're lucky enough to score a cake at the cake walk, fantastic. If not, don't worry, there will be plenty of the sweet dessert to go around.

AARP DRIVER EDUCATION SET FOR THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10
Four-hour Class Meets at Desert Vista
AARP's Driver Safety Program gets underway on Thursday, October 10, 8:30 a.m., at Desert Vista. The class is $15 for AARP members; $20 for non-members, payable by check to AARP. Sign up at the Desert Vista Social Monitor station for this classroom refresher designed to improve your knowledge of traffic laws. Upon completion of the course, you may qualify for a reduction in your auto insurance premium. Be sure to check with your insurance carrier.
