The Link Magazine wrapped up a successful event on Saturday, January 18, as it welcomed more than 400 visitors to its 4th annual advertising expo. The event inside the Desert Vista Ballroom featured advertisers who set up shop to educate residents on their businesses that included everything from real estate to legal issues and home remodeling to personal style.
“It’s really great to see residents come out in support of their Link advertisers,” said the magazine’s managing editor Jeannette Carrillo. “This is our fourth year of hosting what has become a very popular event, and I think the best one to date.”
As for what made the event so successful? Ms. Carrillo said a balance of new and returning advertisers showcasing new products kept the show exciting.
“Resident flow throughout the three hours was consistent, and a quick check with advertisers confirmed that business was being conducted as vendors told us they were booking upcoming appointments.”
Businesses that participated included: Anna & Anni Realtors, The Animal Foundation, Capital Plumbing, Carol Bott (Pueblo Salon), ClearCaptions, Don Berman (Medicare), Helene Winkler (Travel), Home Realty Center, Jerry Creed Law Office, John Lee Mestemacher Realty, Kitchen Tune-Up, McCarthy, Kaster & Guerrero CPAs, MountainView Hospital, Nevada Legal Docs, PBS Television, Pebblestone Coatings, Ready Golf, Todd Tumbleson Realty, Revel Communities, R.W. Turk Construction, Sean Tanko Law Office, Seniors on the Move, Shepherd Eye Center, Southwest Medical, Love Bros. Realty, South Valley Landscape, The Source Dispensary, Andrew Wentworth Esq.
A huge thank you goes out to Link volunteers, Security Patrol, and SCSCAI’s maintenance and custodial staffs, for without them the event could not have been such a success!
