Extra Dining Deals Available at Link Office
Due to increased interest in the Dining Deals flier, the Link is initiating a new limit on the restaurant coupons. Starting on Wednesday, September 27, residents may stop by the Link office at Mountain Shadows, after 9 a.m. to pick up a maximum of three (3) Dining Deals fliers for the month. Sun City Summerlin Community Association, Inc. (SCSCAI) membership ID cards will be required to pick up the coupons. Residents may receive the extra three fliers only one time per month. All residents receive a Dining Deals flier inside the Link magazine that’s mailed to their home.

www.suncitylink.com Focuses on Clubs
|
The Link welcomed roughly 100 people to the Residents’ Forum on September 13, where magazine staff and volunteers shared insight into the newly redesigned website, as well as information on their various responsibilities.
The biggest announcement of the night concerned the Link’s debut of a universal club calendar, where community groups may post meeting dates, classes and cancellation notices. All clubs interested in adding to the calendar need to contact Dianne Lowe at the Link office, 702-966-1434, to receive a user name and password that will grant them access to the calendar on www.suncitylinkcom. Link Stylus Pen
During the Link's Residents' Forum presentation, a Stylus Pen was given to all of the residents in attendance. What appears to be a regular writing pen also doubles as a stylus! When the cap is on, the soft rubber ball on top can be used on any smart phone, tablet or touch screen device to help the user easily navigate and type or text. As a bonus, the elastic band makes it easy to affix the pen to any phone. Photos by Stu Gershon.
In computing, a stylus (or stylus pen) is a small pen-shaped instrument that is used to input commands to a computer screen, mobile device or graphics tablet. With touchscreen devices, a user places a stylus on the surface of the screen to draw or make selections by tapping the stylus on the screen.
