moved here 8 months ago and i'm thrilled. new chef was hired in sept. and quality and menu's are excellent. there are multiple choices in addition to scheduled daily menu. a variety are available all day. i lived in atria [n.y.] and was so displeased i moved out after 3 months. i also did a respite care @ a place in fla. but this place is superior. i was called by name on the very first day by entire staff=servers, housekeeping, maintenance,.etc.-made me feel welcomed. management is always available for visitation & suggestions. concierge checks if you do not order food or go to the dining room==safety is top concern.bistro offering ice cream and wide variety of free beverages open 24 hrs.animal pets also get special treats & treatment from very caring staff. awesome value @ affordable price.

Moved my grandmother in this week. They are reasonably priced and have amenities like bingo, game room, library, putting green, movie theater and shuttle for trips. They just remodeled lobby and dining room for a more upscale feel.
Staff is wonderful. So far so good but parking is a challenge as all spots are marked reserved so have to park on street to visit her. Only complaint is food...they only have two choices for lunch or dinner per day. They also have another menu of anytime options but surprised that there is not more fruit choices. Pretty bland so I guess they don't cook with many spices.
Apartments are cute and perfect for my grandmother. They have laundry and cleaning service available too. I hope they keep up the customer service...so far I am pleased.

Greets same day service. Knowledgeable and good follow-through. Needed a next or wire hooked up for a thermostat. While the serviceman was in the attic he noticed some ductwork that wasn't finished. He put some super tape on it and that has made a difference in cooling our house down. Only downside is that he dropped a metal cover from the attic and it chipped my new tile floor.

Our upstairs thermostat went berserk and wouldn't stop spitting out heat. When the bedroom reached 83° and I was close to passing out, we turned it off and bought a new one the next day. Our handyman installed it, but that didn't seem to fix the problem, so we called Airria, a company we used a couple of years ago on the recommendation of a neighbor.
They came only about 15 minutes after our call and went right to work to diagnose the issue. I've had several experiences in the past with other companies, here and in New Jersey, who I called on an emergency basis, only to be ripped off badly. Not this company. Once again they impressed us with their honesty. They could have told us we needed a new and better thermostat. Or even a new furnace. They thought the problem might be with the circuit board, but said that they didn't want to install it until they were sure, because now the replaced thermostat seemed to be working. They cleaned out the system and added two small parts, told us to monitor the thermostat over the weekend, and charged a reasonable amount.
Most homeowner have no idea what's going on when there is a problem with their heating and air conditioning and are at the mercy of too many dishonest HVAC companies. There is no question that we will continue to use Airria for all our future HVAC needs. They are prompt, reliable, and honest.

I had a problem with one of my kitchen outlets. I tried installing a new one to no avail. I even had my neighbor (who is an electrician) come over to try and help me with it. We had no luck. He suggested that I call a professional company to come and look at the problem. I researched different companies on the internet and came across Advantage Services. Two words: Krista Giannini. This woman is a wealth of information and knows her job well. We went in to pay our homeowner's policy premium and ask questions about our fire claim. She answered clearly and concisely, and put all the very confusing pieces in order for us. Then she started stuffing money in our pockets! Well, she found us some great discounts, so she gave us back our money order. So our homeowner's insurance is now $300 less. No, I did not stutter. 300. Our auto insurance is $55 less PER MONTH. There is quite a difference between an Absolute Dental or RainSprings Dental vs Simister/Branham Dental. When I used to go to the first two places, I literally had my teeth cleaned in ten minutes. Not at my new place. The cleanings are top-notch, the dentist's are caring and efficient, and their staff rocks!
Please don't deprive yourself of quality Dental services. I have insurance, so it is a no-brainer for me. I actually can't wait for my next cleaning

I live in Indiana and had 2 fillings done there, the dentist said that pain was normal but after 2 months I thought I would get a second opinion seeing as I couldn't put any pressure on my back molars. While on vacation in Las Vegas I saw Dr. Branham, and he refitted my fillings. The pain was almost immediately gone.
The office looks great, everyone is friendly and willing to accommodate. Dr. Branham is very approachable and genuine. My husband was scheduled to get a filling when we got back to Indiana but we felt so comfortable at Dr. Branham's office that we got him his filling there too while on vacation

What is the definition of A REALLY GREAT PAINTING?
One answer could be that it is in the eyes of the beholder, but when it comes to the painting of a house it could be different.
In our case we just had our house painted, and we are very pleased with the results.
The house is almost 17 years old and was showing signs of its age. So we accepted the proposal from a local and reputable family owned and operated Nevada Licensed painter.
The first thing that was done was the 'Power Washing' of the entire building and Court Yard Masonry.
A few days later, the paint crew came out and repaired every damaged area, caulked all windows, and covered with plastic film or paper all areas that were to be protected. They used Dunn-Edwards Paints and worked from 7 a.m. to 7:30 pm and did a job that my wife and I are delighted with. Irene is delighted with the colors and I'm delighted with the details of care used.
As an example, when painting the outside of the house they carefully dug the soil\rocks away from siding down to about 4 inches so that they could complete the paint job. When all was finished, they cleaned up all waste materials. We are very pleased to recommend them, although I don't think that they need any help from us, as they have been around a long time.

They came out quickly. Trey knew the issue about the water heater and found that the original installer had failed to install a certain sediment trap which did not meet code. He installed the gadget and fixed the water heater so that it would work properly. Trey was professional and knowledgeable. They did not try to sell me a new water heater. The fee was fair. I would definitely do business with them again.

The entire experience with Jack Dish Plumbing was great. Setting up an appointment was simple and convenient. They were even able to accommodate a Saturday morning. Ryan called ahead, arrived on time, was professional, performed the work, and cleaned up.
All the invoicing is electronic and super easy. I even set up a second appointment to have a defective kitchen faucet replaced the following Saturday. I would recommend this team without hesitation. Nice to know there are still some solid trades around.

I needed a new plumber after discovering lots of problems with work done by a previous plumber. I found Jack Dish Plumbing on Yelp.
I called the office and Jennifer was nice, efficient, called back promptly as she promised! So far so good!! She scheduled Dave to come out within a day or so (I did not have any urgent plumbing problems).
Dave arrived at the appointed time (well within the 2 hour window) was super nice, explained things to me in plain English (i.e., no technical jargon), and got busy on my projects.
Within a few hours he had completed everything and I was (and I still am) confident that all has been done correctly. My only regret is that I didn't find Dave and Jack Dish Plumbing in the first place!
These guys are honest and do a great job! I will only be using them in the future!

When you call a plumber, you live in fear that you're gonna get taken for a ride, but that's not the case with Jack Dish Plumbing. I had an underground leak coming from the area of my sprinkler cut off valve. I called in some landscapers and they discovered it wasn't the pvc pipe, but the copper pipe and valve coming from the street. Landscapers don't work on pipes so I had to call a plumber. I contacted Jack Dish and told them that the water main was shut off and explained the situation. They asked me to text them some pictures and I was contacted later that day by Joey. He gave me an estimate based off the pictures and was willing to come by that night (which would have been god awful cold) but I had to head into work so he scheduled me for 8:30-10:30 the following morning. Once Joey got there he saw that there was some more work than he originally anticipated but the price fluctuation wasn't extreme in the least bit. He replaced the busted valves with better quality hardware than was originally used and was very good about explaining the issues and what steps he was taking to fix everything. Once everything was said and done, I felt happy with the work and would recommend Jack Dish to all my friends.

I have to say that contracting Cabinet Craft for my kitchen and bath cabinet reface was one of the best decisions I have ever made!! I got three estimates but my gut told me Cabinet Craft was the one to choose. Right again!! Communication was excellent! When I went to the showroom for some expert advice, Anne was so very helpful and patient (especially when I had to bring the grandkids along). The job was ready to start and completed in the exact time frame I was given and with little inconvenience. Brian was a true professional from start to finish. He was on time, trustworthy, meticulous, clean and very knowledgeable of his trade. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with my new cabinets. FINALLY, a company, Cabinet Craft and employee, Brian, with the same work ethic I was taught. Do it once and do it right. There were no cutting corners. I saw their booth at one of the home shows and I was quiet impressed by the cabinet refacing display. When I got home I looked them up on Angie's list and was quiet pleased with their rating. I made an appointment to have someone come out and give me a free quote and I found them to be both prompt and professional. Their prices met my expectations so I signed the contract on the spot.
The installer was very polite and extremely talented. I was pleased with both his work ethic and craftsmanship. Needless to say the entire kitchen turned out better than I expected. I would recommend cabinet craft to anyone. They were indeed a ray of light in a town that I find where contractors (when you can get one) have an I don't care attitude. “My granddaughter was getting married, and she has a very soft voice. Business owner J.C. was born and raised in Las Vegas, then went to college at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, on a tennis scholarship. Upon graduating, he moved back to Las Vegas and spent a little over two years as the Director of Marketing for the U.S. Tennis Association of Nevada. “We are exploring our new area and this is a gem! Kept finding coupons (with menu) in the local weekly paper for this restaurant and decided to try this new place. Saw the good reviews on yelp as well as the menu. Yelp check-ins get 20% off.
It's a small place (a dozen tables, and a pair of tall stools at the bar), but has very elegant ambiance (one wall features brick, not the traditional full size kind, the partial but pretty type), which is unexpected, in a strip mall. The tables are dark wood (we opted for the booth). The dinnerware is dark but is in line with the overall theme. It is sit-down, but you can order takeout too.
The food is asian fusion. We got the pan fried noodles with pork tenderloin, combination fried rice, and the ramen noodle soup (including mushrooms, green onions, seaweed, mmm) with shredded chicken. It was excellent. Everything was delicious. The cuts of meat were exceptional. The beef was angus. The pork tenderloin was lean. The shredded chicken breast was clean, no veins, no tubes, perfect. Come to think of it, there was no fat in any of the meat (high quality). Nothing was overdone or salty. Hubby, son, & I enjoyed dinner very much. Also, the portions were quite generous. We had leftovers, mmm.
There was another family eating dinner, besides us, and later, another family. The service was excellent. The owner and the entire staff was very nice and attentive. Also, the owner did something really nice, she modified the chopsticks for our son, and proceeded to show him how to eat the fried rice. We will be back”.

I have been enamored by design since I was young. My mother would take me to model homes regularly. I would float from room to room, showing and telling her how the furnishings were to be arranged or how a different flooring material or paint color would improve a room. My first design job was in Santa Monica, Calif. I was a design assistant in an upscale lighting showroom. Not long after, I was offered a position at the design firm of Jules Seltzer and Associates. After a brief stint in the nonprofit world, I was encouraged by friends and family to go back to school to further my talents for design.
Designs by Pamela is a lifestyle design firm. I look at design with three main goals: budget, function and style. I take my cues from you when designing your space. I create dynamic, chic and personality-infused spaces that are uniquely you. My design perspective is influenced by my love of art and fashion, and I am committed to bringing both into the spaces I create.
