In celebration of American Heart Month, Vegas' Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health is hosting an informational Lunch and Learn giving a brief overview of Heart Attack and Stroke with an in-depth discussion of the risk factors for heart disease and stroke. We will also discuss heart disease correlation to dementia and talk about ways to reduce your risk.

This event will be hosted by Krystal Coffman, DNP, ACNP-BC, BSN - United Health Services, Inc.

Dam Short Film Festival
Thursday, February 11-15
​6-8 p.m.

 In pre-pandemic times, the Dam Short Film Festival was held annually at the beautiful and historic Boulder Theatre.  This year, the 17th annual film festival will be held "virtually" so we can all enjoy viewing from the comfort of your couch.  

This year’s Dam Short Film Festival will premiere and screen more than 160 short films.  The films have been broken down into 25 thematic 60- to 75-minute program blocks.  The categories include Animation, Comedy, Documentary, Drama, Horror, International, Love & Romance, Music Videos, Nevada, Sci-Fi and Underground.

Meditation with Charli​

SCS Fitness Specialist, Charli, will be guiding us through a mindful meditation session this Friday at noon. 

Meditation can help resolve feelings of stress, depression and anxiety.

Friday, February 12th, class will be held in-person at Sun Shadows Community Center at noon.
