Jerry has been in Las Vegas since 2000. Prior to the Practice of Law, Jerry was an Officer in the United States Air Force serving his country as a pilot flying E-3 and F-111 aircraft. After 10 years of service He left the USAF to fly for the government contractor, EG&G, based out of Las Vegas. During his free time, he attended law school at night.
Jerry obtained his Jurist Doctorate from William S. Boyd School of Law, UNLV (2006) and his BS degree in Aviation from San Jose State University (1989). He passed the Nevada Bar in 2008. On May 28, 2014 Jerry was awarded the Estate Planning Law Specialist Certification by the Estate Law Specialist Board, Inc. and was then recognized as a Board- Certified Specialist by the State Bar of Nevada.
Jerry is proud of being an Eagle Scout and his 3rd place finish at the American Bar Association National Client Counseling competition, after winning the Western US Regional Law School Competition and Boyd Law School Competitions. Law school coaches use the video of the final round to train future lawyers to this day.
He describes his focus as “an unreasonable commitment to co-creating estate plans that work.” He is an active member Elder Counsel and Wealth Counsel. He was previously a member of the National Network of Estate Planning Attorneys; over the years more than two thirds of Jerry’s Practice has been devoted to Estate Planning.
Jerry has been married to his high school sweetheart for 27 years. His hobbies include animating Christmas lights, Lionel trains, big dogs, scouting and playing video games with his kids.

Las Vegas resident Ayoub Ayoub was born in Tanzania, East Africa, and moved to the United States as a young adult.
“After completing my undergraduate studies, I moved to the United States and received a doctoral degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I live in Las Vegas with my wife and two children,” said Ayoub. “I founded Paukwa Adventures & Safaris last year here in Las Vegas out of my love for sharing the wonder and adventures of my native country of Tanzania, which is home to authentic safaris and adventures. Where did the idea for Call Me Cake come from?

My Las Vegas restaurant was inspired by the restaurant I had in North Hollywood, Calif., for almost 30 years called Sweet Mo’s. Like most Southern cooking places, Sweet Mo’s served peach cobbler and sweet potato pie as desserts, along with several other gourmet cakes. One day, I got a catering order from a show on ABC-TV called “Gray’s Anatomy.” I did the job and during that episode one of my cakes was chosen to be in a scene on the show. After that, I started receiving calls regarding the cake. “I mean who looks at cakes on a TV show?” Shortly after, I got another call from someone at ABC who gave me a catering job for 300 people.
The next thing I knew, people started coming into the restaurant looking for my cakes.
Another time, I remember having one piece of red velvet cake left at the end of the day with two tables eyeing the slice. When I told them that I only had one slice left, I said, “This is what I will do. I’ll cut it in half and let you all get a taste.” But one person at one of the tables said, “No, we want the whole thing (joking) and we will bid for it.” So, they started to bid for the cake, which was only $2.50. Can you believe the bids got up to $18.50?
It so happened that a man who worked for the Los Angeles Times was in the restaurant at that time and he wrote a story after that called “Best Cake in The City.”
I’ve since developed a gooey butter cake in 45 varieties.
Today, soul food and gooey butter cake are here in Las Vegas. Come on down to Call Me Cake and enjoy a great meal and desert.
