Turkey-to-Go Dinners a Hit With Residents
SCSCAI Food & Beverage team leader Anthony Marrone gave the Link a behind-the-scenes look at The Summit’s turkey-to-go promotion on Thanksgiving Day. According to Anthony, the F&B crew prepared 40 holiday meals for residents who picked up their orders, beginning at 11 a.m. on November 23. Once ordered, residents only needed to drive up to The Summit roundabout at the Pinnacle Community Center and wait as their order was brought out and packed into their car. Residents Teri Vitolo and Marti Stimpson, each gave the idea a big thumb’s up, saying they hope the promotion is revisited next year.
